We met outside the Saddle pub at 5am and got a minibus down to Liverpool Docks. From here we caught the 8am Seacat to Dublin.

The drinking did not start until 9am (we held out!!) and from then on we just drank and drank. How we drunk that much and were not hospitalised is still a mystery. George Best would have struggled to drink as much!

We stayed in the Clifton Court Hotel which was opposite the River Liffey and was 5 minutes walk from the famous temple bar.

As it is is so long ago I can not remember which bars/clubs we drank during the weekend, however I do know that we had a brilliant weekend which was made even better by the corking weather.

Even eating in Burger King every day never ruined the weekend!!.

There was no sweepstake winner this year as on the saturday we all got up at different times and didn't bump into each other. Strange to think that in 1998 we never all had mobile phones. Not even sure one of us did!!
